Change: That Difficult “C” Word
You can dream, create, design and build the
most wonderful place in the world, but it requires
people to make the dream a reality. —Walt Disney
It takes more than a clear vision to effect change in the workplace. It requires teams to shift…shift their thinking…shift their attitudes…shift their priorities and comfort zones.
The Message:
The message will clarify terms for internal stages people go through during a change journey. The message will include language that gives them the necessary terms to identify where they are and recognize the incremental passages they must travel through. It will provide insights that will help them cross specific thresholds into new arenas. And Judy will discuss building trust and hope during the transition period and ways to mobilize people through that process.
Delivery Format:
In this presentation, Daisy one of Judy’s peoploids™ resists change. The humor and laughter help people see a bit of themselves and enjoy a good laugh. Expanding curiosity helps those going through a change to ask the right questions and move away from old comfort zones. Other peoploids™ and ventriloquial techniques like, effectively “throwing the voice a distance,” packs in big laughs and keeps them riveted. The duality of fun entertainment mixed with serious message makes this a “must” presentation for any corporation or professional association experiencing change. Humor is essential for mobilizing people through change.
